Oh my goodness! It has been four months since I last posted...

Little Angel

spending her second night at a new little friends house (when i went to pick her up they asked if she could stay another night)
is no longer going to after school care (next year they won't have for her age anyway) I pick her up at the house at 3 and take her back to help me clean classroom and then we go get Little Buckaroo together. It will probably be good to get some alone time together
now has a zebra print/flower room with the futon for her bed
is going to start getting an allowance per my husband's suggestion
can make Little Buckaroo laugh-really hard!
seems to be enjoying being a big sister but I can also see some regression to some degree trying to compete with a baby
still wants me to tuck her in, read a devotion, and read a few pages of a book (currently Alice in Wonderland from Target for $1)
has become more and more affectionate as her separation from her grandmother has now reached almost 5 months
calls me Mum occasionally but most of the time does not call me anything at all (don't knwo how but does) but will sometimes refer to me as her mom
has not seen her "other Mom" for probably six months
is going to have to start wearing bed alarm again (retrain her bladder at night)
likes to clean her play house
can do a walk over and front hand spring
wants to get up and wash and dry hair in the mornings
scored really good on grade level state testing
is growing her hair out again (as long as she keeps bangs clipped off face)
is quite independent-gets self ready and picks out own clothes etc
is glad to have a little girl cousin
likes to listen to music but knows to change station if something unsuitable comes on
wants to help with Little Buckaroo-sometimes too much
is switching three classes!
lost her grandpa- Papaw in May right after we finalized termination of visitation and decided to go visit him in hospice
we are enjoying Gilmore Girls, coloring, Nicolas Spark movies, painting nails, and walking around neighborhood with friends

Little Buckaroo

can say "Momma", "Daddy", "Bub", and "Hey"
is eating little piece of meat, little piece of fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, shredded cheese with yogurt or cottage cheese to make it stick together, peas, Cheerios, puffs, yogurt bites
prefers cold water, juice, and formula out of sippy
has been taking a bottle with cereal at night
usually eat one jar of meat (3 oz) with a little baby food dinner (4 oz) for dinner
can stand up in crib
can pull up on new toy Aunt Courtney sent over
can use a combination of crawl, sit, scoot, turn to move
has gotten pretty clingy as of recently-pretty stopped up with allergies (just like his Dad and sister) and murmers "Momma" as he is trying to get to me
LOVES bath time. so much in fact that on weekend we often take 2-3 "bath" usually after self feeding sessions
can somewhat scoop and bring spoon to his mouth
is starting to put rings back on instead of just take off
will stack blocks
is generally a very happy lil guy unless he does not feel good
pretty cuddly when tired and sometimes just cuddly
has eight teeth so we are now brushing teeth!
has moved to a convertible car seat because is over 20 lbs
likes to jump in his exersaucer and Johnny Jump It
goes to sitter three days, my mom one day, and stays with me one day
moves feet when you hold his hands
likes to somersault
is a people person. his sitter says people always talking to him when they are out and he is always smiling at people when we go shopping
has gotten an attitude if you take something away or he falls over (very normal lol)

paycut at work has its benefits-four day work week
get to spend Friday with my lil man
learned that you have to put parking break on before you put car in park in order to do any good. lol.
need to get motivated to clean closet
am halfway through Master in Early Intervention but having financial issues so sitting out a semester
thinking about commissioning a toddler bed for later on with fence post, star and moon cut outs, and rivets so night light can shine through head board
excited about Christmas with one year old and 6 month old niece
hoping it works out with prospective couple friends

Hubby

still hates his job
is trying his hand at the stock market on his free time
still working on his 1968 truck with Turino engine
loves to fish
adores his children
can fix anything! washer, transmission, lawn mower, weed eater, air conditioner, etc.
wants to open his own car business where he fixes and sells vehicles and can spend more time with us
right now has a pretty crummy schedule: closing tonight and Friday. overnight Sun night, Monday night, and Wednesday for inventory (a lot of weeks he goes in around 4 am)
brought out Lonesome Dove for the umteenth time but I love it too
is hoping something will give so he can get a different job and another car (his is running on threads)

My brother has allowed me to borrow his computer since the lap top has crashed :( However, I am not able to load pictures at this point so words will have to do.

I am two days in to my three week break. Yesterday me and Lil Buckaroo did a lot of running but today, well, today I am still in my pajamas. I intended to nap when he went down for his nap but of course I got busy. Lol. Not sure I have much proof of what I have been doing though ;)

Little Angel has one more jam packed week of school. She got two awards yesterday, art and honor roll. I was so proud of her hard work this year under a hard teacher. She has also matured a lot this year and is almost self sufficient. I think it really helped to have her write out what needs to be done morning and night and give her a few deadlines. Breakfast at 6:40. Out door by 6:50. In bed at 8:45. We have only missed the bus once this year now that we are on a schedule! I guess all it took was passing the responsibility over to her rather than reminding reminding.
